Choosing your Chart
A new chart works best.  Be sure to mail it to us in a tube so it will not get wrinkled.   In making
a decision about which section of your favorite chart to use, remember to do so in proportion to
the height and width of the wall.  For example, if you have an 8' x 12' wall, you will want to create
a box on your map that has the same ratio, e.g. 2' x 3',   1' x 1.5',    16" x 24" etc.   In other
words, use exactly the same proportion in cropping the area of the chart that you wish to
appear in the mural.
Note that you should not mark your
chart with pen, nor cut it out.  Simply
outline your area in post-it notes, or in
any way that will not damage or mark
the chart.  You might wish to include a
written description of your cropping in
case tapes or other materials become
detached from your chart in the mail.
If there is any question, be assured
that we will call you for clarification.

If there is a key focal point in the chart,
it should be about five feet from the
floor when enlarged.
You might also want to consider how your chart will look in contrast to the
furniture in your office or den.

If your room is a "busy" place, with several decorative pieces, then you
might consider selecting an expanse of ocean on the chart that is simple,
but elegant.  On the other hand, some chart detail may provide the very
centerpiece of your office decor!
